Our guides will pick you up at your hotel early and while traveling to the Cajon del Maipo you can observe a classic Los Andes basin. After an hour’s journey you will immerse yourself in the Yeso river valley and its beautiful postcards.

Hiking near Santiago:
The Laguna de los Patos, small but beautiful for its turquoise green colors that blend with the coppery tones of the mountains.
It is 3200 meters high, surrounded by mountains that exceed 5,000 meters, even 6,000 meters, thanks to Marmolejo Hill, a huge mountain from which thousands of years old glaciers hang.
The hiking route near Santiago is of low intensity, short and full of surprises, because it is very likely that on the way you will find impressive marine fossils, which remind us that in the past the Andes mountain range was covered with sea.
We will leave Santiago towards San José de Maipo, a small mountain town located 1000 meters high.
We will continue our mountain tour while we observe great mountains until we reach El Yeso dam, a freshwater reserve that offers beautiful views.
Close to Embalse del Yeso, we will have an exquisite homemade breakfast, prepared by your locals chilean guides.
After leaving the Yeso dam, our trip continues to the Plomo hot spring, where we will leave our cars to start the hike to the Laguna de Los Patos.
After 3 hours of walking, we will go to El Plomo thermal springs to enjoy a therapeutic and natural thermal bath and a picnic with typical food and Chilean wine.
The main views are: the Los Patos lagoon located at 3200 meters altitude, Marmolejo volcano and its glaciers, fauna and flora typical of the Andes.
Around 4:00 p.m. we will begin our return to Santiago.
